The objective of standard game is to destroy the enemy’s “Core”, a stationary object which is present at both bases. Between the lanes are jungles where additional resources your Hero stats and abilities can be found. The minions can be used as cover or distraction. Both teams are supported by swarms of “minions”, ally AI troops that attack in a cluster.
To proceed to an enemy’s base, players have to go through defensive towers that are present on both sides of the bases, and enemy Heroes. The two bases are connected by three lanes: a center lane, and two corner lanes. In a standard game, 10 players separated into two teams are positioned at the two ends of the map, with each end being their base and re-spawn points. All Heroes possess at least four unique abilities, and all of them have different weapons and looks. Each Hero is available for free and a single Hero can be used for the duration of a single match. In Paragon, players assume the role of one of the 30+ “Heroes” available in the character selection. Since then it has been in development and has been evolving through patches and character updates. On Augit entered its Open Beta stage, and players were free to provide feedback on it. Paragon is a third-person action Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by Epic Games, who were also the creators behind titles such as Gears of War, for the Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 platforms, and was originally released as an Early Access title on March 18, 2016.
